To take part in the Primary Awards for Green Education in Schools, first you need to register your school. Please complete as much information as you can. It doesn’t matter if you’re not completely sure about what your project will be called or exactly how many children will take part in it at this early stage.
Please keep a note of the password you have chosen, as you will need this when you submit your entry.Enter your school
The Awards’ four categories give opportunities to study the environment in most areas of the Curriculum. Take a look at the categories below and decide which one suits your project best. You can enter the same project(s) into several categories if you wish. You don’t need to worry too much about your category choice, as in the event that we consider you have chosen the wrong category for your project, we will reassign it, but only if this would be advantageous to your entry.
The Awards are open to all primary schools in the United Kingdom. Any work you are doing at your school, with an environmental focus, can be entered. You can even submit work children have done at home, or during the Summer Term of 2022.
Please note that the main priority when judging project entries is that they contain examples of the students’ own work. This can be presented in a range of ways including written work, artwork, photographs, a PowerPoint presentation and/or a video.
If your school has undertaken a range of environmental work during the year, we would recommend that you attempt to amalgamate it into one or two strong entries, rather than a large number of separate entries.View Categories
When your entry is ready, you need to log into your school’s account on the Primary Awards for Green Education in Schools website using your email address and the password you chose when you registered your school’s entry. You can upload all of your project files to us for judging.
