Outwood Primary Academy Lofthouse Gate Regional Winner 2015, Totally Active - North

The children at Outwood Primary Academy have put a huge amount of work into their outdoor areas in the last year and it’s real paying off.  With the vegetables they are now harvesting and cooking from their new polytunnel and the eggs from their chickens, they are enjoying their very own home-grown food.  They can feed their plants with their own home-made compost and they harvest rainwater to water them.  Their comfortable potting shed gives them somewhere to sit back and enjoy looking over their garden, even in bad weather!
