Dartford Bridge Community School took part in a ‘Plastic Fantastic’ community eco project. The children learned about how plastic waste affects the environment and then used their creative skills to make junk monsters out of recycled materials. It was great to see the children’s fantastic creations and their enthusiasm for the project. Parents were also involved in the project, so it became the catalyst for much discussion. The children then made a fantastic 3D map to raise awareness of how far plastic can travel once in our oceans.
