Croft Woodland and Sensory Gardens

Croft C of E Primary School have transformed an overgrown area of unused scrubland into a beautiful sensory garden and woodland area.  It is great to see how actively involved the children have been in the project - from fundraising and coming up with ideas to gardening and making furniture.  There has also been fantastic support from the parents.  Each child has planted at least one plant in the garden and all have been involved in creating this special space.  The new facilities created, such as a bird hide, make outdoor learning possible even in poor weather.  The whole school can now benefit hugely from this wonderful outside area; it will be a space for learning and enjoyment for many years to come.
