Marton Academy has been very busy creating new outdoor spaces this year, ensuring that they make the most of every bit of their school grounds. This has included developing a sensory area, investing in a range of new planters, making fantastic play areas from recycled sustainable materials and using their woodland to develop forest skills. The children took part in a camp night where they slept under the stars and ate food that had been grown in their polytunnel and cooked over a fire pit. The children of Marton Academy clearly derive huge enjoyment from working and playing outdoors in their wonderful school grounds.
