Why Waste?
Scartho Junior Academy's project looked at the problems of plastic pollution, focusing on plastic entering the sea. The children created an impressive Twitter campaign - a clever way of spreading the message more widely. They also designed a fantastic t-shirt to advertise the campaign and wrote persuasive letters to prominent people such as David Attenborough and Theresa May. The children also carried out a beach clean - a practical way of reducing the amount of plastic entering our seas.
