Bredon Hill Academy's project was to restore their school pond. It leaked, held little water and was in urgent need of repair, so they applied for a grant to renovate the habitat for the resident newts, dragon flies and other pond life. With the project now complete, the school pond is clearly a fantastic habitat for a wide range of wildlife. It provides both excellent opportunities for learning and a tranquil place for the children, who are also involved in caring for the pond.
