Eco Rockets
The children of Catrine Primary School were set the challenge of creating rockets from recycled materials that could be used to transport characters from the Lego Movie 2 into space. The winning rocket was made from 85% of recycled materials including plastic cups, cotton wool, feathers, lolly sticks, glitter, glue, tape, pine cones, pipe cleaners and paint. The base was Lego Blocks. An interesting and original way of inspiring young people to think carefully about how they can re-use materials.
