Green Connections = Eco Educated

Children throughout Argyle Primary School have taken part in some fantastic environmental activities in the last year, including visiting Earthfest to learn about the different amount of land and water needed to make different kinds of milk, designing a new green space they are set to develop. All year groups visited London Zoo at different times, whilst Years 4 and 5 attended a sustainability workshop at the Royal Institution, at which they learned about making shampoo more sustainable by using bars and made their own hydrogels to contain liquid. These break down naturally in the environment after use. Year 4 also went on an adventure to meet children from their partner school in rural Derbyshire, with some of them camping overnight.

In recognition of their outstanding achievements, Argyle Primary School have received £500 to be put towards their school funds, empowering them to further their green initiatives and inspire future generations of environmentalists.
