Natural Dyes and Recycling Around Our School

For their fascinating project, the children looked at how they could create natural dyes from a range of plants that were growing locally. They used recycled materials to create bags and clothes that they decorated using their newly-made natural dyes.

In recognition of the children’s achievements, Saundersfoot Community Primary School has received £500 to be put towards their school funds, empowering them to further their green initiatives and inspire future generations of environmentalists.

YPTE's Director, Peter Littlewood, commended the children's enthusiasm, stating, “This was a really interesting project. It was fantastic to see how much the children had learned about natural dyes. They taught us a lot about it!”
