Burscough Primary School made bug habitats and a minibeast mansion as part of the wildlife areas they are developing which also included digging a pond and creating an outdoor classroom. They held a woodland and wildlife workshop and involved the wider community with their family work days. As part of the Jubilee year they planted seeds and saplings. Year 5 drew designs of what they’d like in the woodland area and Year 1 also wrote descriptions and drew pictures of that too. They plan to open up these areas to other groups that usually have limited access these kinds of great outdoor areas.
