Wicor County Primary School Highly Commended 2017, Totally Scientific - South/ Central

Wicor Primary School produced an amazing project on plastics and showed how much they really care about reducing their environmental impacts. Their activities included litter picking at the local beach, writing to companies about plastic packaging and creative work such as murals, sculpture design and poetry.  The children have also managed to achieve real change, both at school and at home, by reducing their consumption of plastic and showing that we can all make a difference.  Even better, the local council will be using one of their fantastic poster designs to help promote the message to the general public.
