Kirkby-La-Thorpe Primary School are clearly providing a fantastic range of opportunities for children to learn about environmental issues. The children love working and learning outdoors and this is made possible by the support and encouragement of staff and parents.  The children are actively involved in recycling and the school's efforts to reduce waste are extremely impressive.  Children have the opportunity to belong to the school's Gardening Club and Eco Club, both of which encourage the children to take care of their environment through activities such as growing their own produce and recycling.
