Eco Art

During Senacre Wood's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) week the children emptied the rubbish from the school's bins and agreed that as a school, they needed to do more recycling to help the environment. They were challenged to raise the profile of recycling to visitors to the school and so created a whole corridor themed around the topic of recycling and the environment. Visitors can now walk under a canopy of silver birch trees (made out of recycled materials) and can see a whole school masterpiece made entirely out of cardboard as well as looking at framed artwork to do with the great outdoors!  It's a spectacular series of recycled artworks with a really strong message that is reinforced every day!
