I've BIN RECYCLING ,have you?
Given the strange circumstances that schools face at the moment, we have been delighted with the number of entries we have received. Young people are really getting to grips with a wide range of environmental issues and their ideas and actions have been really heartwarming to see.
Whilst lots of schools are doing some form of recycling, Dane Ghyll is the first we’ve seen to recycle an entire classroom! We love the way they found a new purpose for a prefabricated building and all their other ingenious recycling projects, which include turning an old washing machine into a bug hotel and using old cable reels as outdoor tables. We have been really impressed with the school’s gardening over the years and now they are adding really clever recycling too!
